- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture evenly.
- Place the breaded chicken breasts on a baking sheet.
Cooking
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and top each breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve hot.
Notes
