Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, aluminum foil, or a silicone baking mat.
- Arrange salmon fillets evenly spaced in the middle of the pan.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with the olive oil and add garlic, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon mixture evenly over salmon fillets and place a lemon slice on top if desired.
Baking
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until salmon is opaque and flakes easily. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Serve warm.
