Ingredients

For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 1/4 cup salted butter Using salted butter enhances the flavor.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For a lighter version, consider using half and half.
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated cheese melts better than pre-grated.
  • Salt & pepper To taste.
For the Pizza
  • 1 lb. fail-proof pizza dough Store-bought dough saves time.
  • 1 1/2 cups cubed rotisserie chicken Pre-cooked for convenience.
  • 2 cups Italian blend grated cheese
  • Italian seasoning To taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) to ensure a crisp crust.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Swirl the pan occasionally to let the milk solids brown evenly.
  3. Once it turns a medium brown and has a nutty aroma, lower the heat and pour in the cream. Stir gently until the sizzling subsides.
  4. Incorporate the Parmesan cheese gradually, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then set aside the sauce.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large circle and transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.
Assembly and Cooking
  1. Spread half of the brown butter Alfredo sauce over the dough.
  2. Toss the rotisserie chicken in the remaining sauce and distribute it evenly on top.
  3. Sprinkle the Italian blend cheese and a dash of Italian seasoning over everything.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  5. Let it cool for a few moments before slicing and serving.

Notes

Fresh herbs amplify flavors. Use fresh basil or parsley for additional freshness. Watch the oven to avoid over-browning.
