- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a large bowl, season the chicken with olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to ensure the chicken is thoroughly coated.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish. Top with diced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
For best results, allow the chicken to marinate for a few hours for deeper flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
