Ingredients

Lasagna
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles Choose no-boil noodles for quicker preparation.
  • 3.5 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded This is a great shortcut, adding both flavor and ease.
Cheese Mixture
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning Feel free to make your own mix at home.
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce Adjust the amount for a milder taste.
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded Experiment with different cheese types.
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Optional Toppings
  • ranch dressing For drizzling.
  • green onions, chopped
  • blue cheese crumbles

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, buffalo sauce, milk, cheddar cheese, and 1 ½ cups of mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a clean surface.
Assembly
  1. Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Lay down a layer of lasagna noodles. Spread another layer of the cheese mixture on top, followed by a layer of shredded chicken.
  3. Repeat the layers, ending with the cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of mozzarella cheese on the final layer.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese on top is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Let the lasagna rest for 8–10 minutes before slicing to allow the layers to set.
  2. Garnish with optional toppings such as ranch dressing, green onions, or blue cheese.

Notes

Allowing the lasagna to rest after baking helps the layers come together for easier serving. You can assemble the lasagna ahead of time or freeze it for later.
