Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, frozen peas, diced carrots, cream of chicken soup, and milk until everything is blended well.
- Pour the chicken mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- In another bowl, stir together the biscuit mix and water until a soft dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the chicken filling, leaving some gaps for the sauce to bubble up.
- Generously sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the biscuit layer.
Baking
- Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Allow the cobbler to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Allow the cobbler to sit for a few minutes after baking for a thicker filling. Avoid overmixing the biscuit topping.
