Preparation
- Lightly coat the bottom of your crock pot with vegetable oil. Place the boneless chicken breasts inside, arranging them evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, melted butter, minced garlic, and chicken broth until smooth and well-combined.
- Stir in the Italian dressing mix, ensuring an even distribution of flavors.
- Pour this creamy mixture over the chicken in the crock pot, making sure it’s well covered.
Cooking
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 4 hours.
- About 15 minutes before serving, boil the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta once it’s cooked.
- Remove the cooked chicken from the crock pot, shred it using two forks, and mix it back into the delicious sauce.
- Serve the chicken over pasta, garnished with chopped parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
Timing is key for tender chicken. Consider adding vegetables or altering seasonings for personal preferences.
