  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garnish

Preparation
  1. Begin by arranging the chicken breasts in your slow cooker in an even layer.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, chicken broth, melted butter, oregano, and thyme until well blended.
  3. Pour the lemon herb mixture over the chicken and sprinkle the top with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Cover your slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  2. Check that the chicken is fork-tender and fragrant.
Serving
  1. Lift the lid and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
  2. Drizzle the lemon herb sauce over the chicken when plating.
