Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef Choose lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 4 cups beef broth Use low-sodium beef broth for more control over saltiness.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups fresh vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, bok choy) Feel free to add your favorites.
  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • green onions for garnish (optional) Adds freshness.

Method

Cooking Directions
  1. Begin by browning the ground beef in your slow cooker on the high setting, breaking it apart until it’s evenly cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Pour the beef broth and soy sauce over the browned meat. Stir well to coat.
  3. Add the fresh vegetables, ginger (if using), and minced garlic. Mix gently.
  4. Set your slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. About 10 minutes before serving, add the ramen noodles to the broth and stir gently.
  6. Serve hot, garnishing each bowl with fresh green onions.

Notes

For optimal results, cooking on low allows flavors to develop fully. Fresh vegetables should be added closer to serving time for optimal texture.
