- Chop your broccoli into bite-sized pieces, keeping the florets roughly the same size for even cooking.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, ensuring they're well-coated for maximum flavor.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot, pouring the creamy mixture over them and stirring gently to coat.
- Sprinkle the chopped broccoli on top of the chicken and sauce, distributing evenly.
Cooking
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
- Just before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well-blended.
Notes
