Preparation

- (Optional) In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
Baking
- Place the seared chicken in a baking dish and pour the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes to ensure the chicken cooks thoroughly.
- Remove the foil, top the chicken with cheddar cheese (if using), and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
