Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg. Place the cornstarch in another dish.
  4. Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the beaten egg, and finally coat with cornstarch. Set aside on a plate.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or deep frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat to about 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the hot oil, cooking until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Fry in batches if necessary.
  3. Remove the chicken from the oil and let it drain on paper towels.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Heat over low flame until warm.
Finishing Touch
  1. Once all chicken pieces are fried, place them in a large bowl and pour the honey sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.

Notes

For extra crispiness, consider double frying the chicken. A splash of crushed red pepper flakes can add spice to the honey sauce.
