- Mix together all your ingredients, except your shredded cheddar cheese, in a 4-quart slow cooker until well combined.
- Sprinkle your cheese evenly across the top.
- Cover and cook on low for about 120 minutes (2 hours) or high for 90 minutes (1.5 hours), turning your insert halfway through if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container. Reheat with a splash of water or milk to regain creamy texture. This dish freezes well.
