  • 1 tsp paprika

  1. Season the chicken breasts liberally with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Place them in the bottom of your crockpot in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour this rich cream mixture evenly over the chicken and sprinkle the chopped sun-dried tomatoes on top to distribute the flavor.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the grated parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce.
  6. Just before serving, garnish with fresh basil. Serve this dish over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.
