Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper, and stir until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and sear each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Once seared, spoon some of the garlic butter over the chicken.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven, let the chicken rest for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For best results, pat the chicken dry before searing and do not overcrowd the pan. Timing is crucial, check the internal temperature at 18 minutes for thinner breasts.
