- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Finishing Touch
- Just before serving, sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the dish and allow it to melt.

- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot, paired with crusty bread.
