  • 2 pieces lemons (juiced) Fresh lemon juice is essential.
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced) Freshly minced garlic gives the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt For seasoning.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano For added flavor.
Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Choose even-sized breasts for uniform cooking.
Garnish
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley (chopped) For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken.
  3. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably a few hours.
Grilling
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  3. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and juices run clear.
  4. Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes.
Serving
  1. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate for 2 to 4 hours. This chicken is versatile and can be sliced over salads or used in sandwiches.
