Baking Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- If using, add cooked rice or pasta to the mixture and stir.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by the French fried onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. Can be made ahead and frozen without fried onions.
