  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko for extra crunch or whole wheat for a hearty touch.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated gives a more robust flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Add cayenne for a kick.

  • 2 eggs Beaten.
  • 1 cup flour
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil For enhanced browning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  3. Set up a breading station: place flour in one bowl, beat eggs in another, and fill the last with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Take each chicken tender, dip it in the flour, shaking off excess, followed by a dip in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet with space between each piece.
Baking
  1. Lightly spray the tenders with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached.
  3. Serve warm alongside your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, avoid crowding the baking sheet. Use a meat thermometer for reliable doneness. For extra flavor, consider marinating chicken in buttermilk.
