  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust or sponge cake Optional

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cheese and sugar, mixing until smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest; mix well to create a flavorful base.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing until just combined with each addition to avoid overmixing.
  5. Stir in the sour cream and melted butter until smooth, ensuring every ingredient is well blended.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust or just greased springform pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly browned.
  2. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving for the best set texture.
