  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Thickening the Gravy
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water To create a slurry.

  1. Begin by spraying the insert of your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker, ensuring they’re evenly spread out.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the beef broth, brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined and smooth.
  4. Gently pour the gravy mixture over the meatballs. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours, stirring halfway through.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry, then stir it into the slow cooker to thicken the gravy.
  6. Serve the meatballs over egg noodles or mashed potatoes, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired.

For extra flavor, consider searing meatballs before adding them to the slow cooker. Adjust seasonings with fresh herbs like thyme for enhanced aroma.
