  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt [Adjust to taste]
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley [Plus more for garnish]
  • 0.5 cup sour cream [Optional for extra creaminess]

Preparation
  1. Lightly grease the slow cooker with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.
  2. Lay the chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and dried parsley until smooth.
  4. Gently pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  2. Carefully shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks.
  3. If desired, stir in sour cream before serving.
  4. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles, garnished with extra parsley.
