  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts Fresh for best flavor.
  • 8 oz cream cheese Full-fat for rich consistency.
  • 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix Homemade seasoning can be used.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Can substitute with cream of mushroom.
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth Low-sodium recommended.
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder Adjust to taste.
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lay the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder over the chicken.
  3. In a medium bowl, blend the cream of chicken soup with chicken broth until smooth, and pour this mixture over the chicken.
  4. Place the cream cheese on top without stirring it in.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is fork-tender.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir until well blended.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or in a sandwich.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. This dish freezes well and can be reheated easily. Adjust seasoning midway for preferred flavor intensity.
