Method
 

Preparation
  1. Lightly season the chicken with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, grated ginger, vinegar, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken in a slow cooker and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours until chicken is tender and cooked through.
  2. Optional: For a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, stir into the sauce, and simmer until thickened.
  3. Return chicken to the slow cooker, or serve on a platter, pouring the sauce over the top and garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
