Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound frozen meatballs Use all-natural or whole-food varieties for a healthier option.
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup honey Choose pure honey for a richer flavor.
  • ¼ cup soy sauce Use low-sodium soy sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced garlic yields the best flavor, jarred is also acceptable.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce For a milder version, you can skip this.

Method

Preparation
  1. In your slow cooker, combine the ketchup, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently until the mixture is well-blended.
  2. Gently place the frozen meatballs directly into the sauce mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for 3-4 hours or high for 1.5-2 hours.
  4. Once cooked, ensure the meatballs are heated through to at least 165°F.
  5. Serve hot on their own, over a bed of rice, or as an appetizer with toothpicks.

Notes

For thicker sauce, lift the lid in the last 30 minutes of cooking. Fresh scallions or sesame seeds make a great garnish.
