Preparation
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Season gently with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add half of the cubed steak and half of the sliced onions evenly.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the first layer.
- Repeat the layering with the remaining ingredients, finishing with the last portion of cheese on top.
- Pour the beef broth evenly over the ingredients.
- Cover and set the slow cooker on low heat for 7-8 hours.
- Once cooked, stir gently and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, sear the cubed steak before adding to the slow cooker. Adjust cooking times based on your slow cooker's intensity.
