  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Gluten-free options can be used.
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce Homemade versions enhance flavor.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Ensure gluten-free if necessary.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds a nutty flavor.
For Garnish

Method
 

Preparation of Meatballs
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them in the Crockpot.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the Crockpot.
Cooking the Meatballs
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  2. Serve the meatballs warm, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Prepare the meatball mixture a day in advance and store in the refrigerator. These meatballs freeze well, just thaw overnight before reheating.
