Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and place them in a baking dish.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice and zest, and remove from heat.
  4. Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over the chicken breasts.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Pat chicken dry before seasoning to help the butter sauce cling. If breasts are thick, tent with foil for the first 15 minutes.
